In this resolution, ECOS urges investigating the presence of emerging contaminants even if the risks are not fully known, urges accelerating efforts to respond to emerging contaminants, reinforces the need for collaboration in addressing emerging contaminants, and requests that the federal government provide resources to address emerging contaminants.
